Terms and conditions
What you are buying. A one-time purchase of a digital ebook in PDF format, "From Zero to Your First eBook Business (India Edition)", for ₹99, inclusive of applicable taxes. There is no subscription and no recurring charge. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
Your licence. The ebook is for your personal use. You may read it on any of your own devices and print it for yourself. You may not copy, share, upload, resell or redistribute it, in whole or in part, or present its content as your own product.
Educational content. The ebook gives general educational information about creating and selling digital products. It is not legal, tax, financial or professional advice. No particular income, sales or result is promised. Platform names, fees and rules mentioned in it can change; always check current terms with each provider.
Payments. Payments are processed securely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Shivamogga, Karnataka having jurisdiction.
Refunds and cancellations
Because the ebook is a digital file delivered instantly, all sales are final once the file has been delivered, except in the cases below.
We will fix the problem or refund you in full if:
- you were charged but did not receive the download link, and we can't deliver it to you;
- the file is damaged or won't open, and we can't send you a working copy;
- you were charged more than once for the same purchase.
Contact us within 7 days of purchase with your email, mobile number and Razorpay payment ID. Approved refunds are made to your original payment method and usually reach you within 5–7 working days, depending on your bank.
Cancellations: you can cancel at any time before completing payment by closing the checkout. If a payment fails or is not completed, any amount debited is reversed automatically by your bank or Razorpay.
Delivery policy
This is a digital product. Nothing is shipped. As soon as your payment is confirmed, you are taken to a page with a download button for the PDF. The download link works for 30 days (up to 20 downloads).
If the page closes before you download, open merapatra.in/books/download.php and enter the email and mobile number you paid with to get a fresh link. If you still can't download it, contact us and we'll send the file within 24 hours.
Privacy
When you buy, we collect your name, email and mobile number, and Razorpay shares the payment ID, amount, payment method and status with us. We use these only to deliver your ebook, restore your download link, answer your questions, keep accounting and tax records, and prevent fraud.
We do not sell or rent your details, and we don't add you to marketing lists without your permission. Payment data is handled by Razorpay under its own privacy policy. We may publish total sales numbers (for example "3 sales today"), never your name, email, phone or any other detail that identifies you.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this site (pages viewed, device type, approximate location, and whether a purchase happened). It uses cookies. It never receives your name, email, phone number, or card, UPI or bank details (only an anonymous order reference when a purchase happens). You can block it with your browser's privacy settings or an ad blocker.
We keep order records for as long as needed for accounting and legal purposes. To ask what we hold about you or to request deletion where the law allows, contact us.
